Grant O'Connor Named Track Athlete of the Year
Regional Athletes of the Year and All-Region honorees for the 2019 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field season have been announced by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) student-athlete Grant O'Connor earned the Male Track Athlete of the Year in the Atlantic Region, while collecting All-Region in 5000 meters and 10000 meters. He is one of 10 from RPI who earned 15 All-Region certificates.

Four From RPI Earn Lacrosse All-America
Four student-athletes from the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) men's lacrosse team - Keaton Ackermann, Lucas Bastarache, Quinn Fettig and JT Kelly - are among those recognized by the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) as Division III All-Americans. Each of the four garnered Honorable Mention recognition - the second consecutive season for Ackermann, Bastarache and Fettig.

Local students graduate from Gettysburg College
Challenge. Failure. Resilience. Triumph. And what it means to be a Gettysburgian through it all. These and other themes were reflected during Gettysburg College's 184th Commencement ceremony as we celebrated the accomplishments of our 611 graduates and looked forward with them to the future. Founded in 1832, Gettysburg College is a highly selective four-year residential college of liberal arts and sciences with a strong academic tradition that includes Rhodes Scholars, a Nobel laureate and other distinguished scholars among its alumni.

Recognition is Granted to Students Who Studied Abroad in Spring 2019
Muhlenberg encourages students in every major to study abroad while earning college credit towards their degree. In fact, 58 percent of Muhlenberg graduates from the Class of 2018 studied abroad. The College supports four discipline-specific study abroad opportunities as well as offering over 100 approved programs in Europe, Asia, Oceania, Latin America and Africa.

Class & Charter Day Awards 2019
Hamilton's annual Class & Charter Day took place on May 13. Established in 1950, the event combines the traditional Class Day celebrating the end of classes with a commemoration of the granting of College's charter on May 26, 1812. The ceremony features an address by a historian, trustee, alumnus, or faculty member whose (subject) topic is related to Hamilton's history and traditions. Academic and scholarly achievement prizes are awarded to students and faculty. More than 150 students received prizes this year. In addition, 10 faculty members were honored for their contributions in the classroom.

Grant O'Connor Earns National All-America in 5000 Meters
Grant O'Connor capped off his final indoor season with a third place finish in the 5000 meters at the 2019 Division III Men's and Women's Track & Field Championships, giving the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) student-athlete his first indoor All-America certificate and seventh overall.

Rensselaer to be Well Represented at NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championship

The meet is Friday and Saturday at the Reggie Lewis Track and Athletic Center in Boston.

UA Little Rock announces fall 2018 Chancellor's List honorees
UA Little Rock announces its fall 2018 Chancellor's List, recognizing more than 700 students with superior academic performance in the fall 2018 semester. To be eligible for the Chancellor's List, students must earn at least nine credit hours and at least a 3.9 grade point average. Students must not have D, F, I or "no credit" grades on their semester grade reports.
