The Department of Psychological Science at Eastern Connecticut State University held its 2017 Summer Research Institute on May 18-24 on the Eastern campus. This year's institute involved 10 undergraduate students and focused on the various factors that influence healthy eating. The institute was led by professors Jenna Scisco and Joseph Dracobly.
Thirteen Eastern Connecticut State University students recently attended the Region I Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival (KCACTF) at Western Connecticut State University in Danbury, CT, where they attended theatre workshops and competed in acting and design competitions. Eastern Connecticut State University recently hosted its annual Scholarship Reception in the Fine Arts Instructional Center. The event brought together major ECSU Foundation scholarship donors and their respective student-recipients. This year students were awarded scholarships, totaling more than $600,000 in financial aid to students of all backgrounds and academic majors.
